From downtown Ramsey, it's about a 12-minute drive via Route 17 North to the NYS Thruway. Prefer not to drive? Ramsey's two NJ Transit stations — Ramsey Main Street and Ramsey Route 17 — make the trip easy, especially on days when you'd rather relax on the way home.
A Typical Visit
New patients start with a clinical consultation to confirm fit and review history. Sessions then run twice-weekly to start, tapering as symptoms improve — about two hours each, including monitored recovery. A ride home is required; driving yourself isn't permitted the same day as a session.

Spravato® REMS certification isn't common everywhere, and the nearest in-state option can mean a longer drive than simply crossing into Suffern. Marpa Minds focuses exclusively on ketamine, esketamine, and TMS therapy — not general psychiatry offering it as a side service — with board-certified clinicians who see you visit to visit, not whoever's available that day.
Most insurance is accepted, including Horizon BCBS NJ, AmeriHealth NJ, and Aetna NJ, and our team manages verification, prior authorization, and appeals — so you're not the one on hold with your insurer. Clinical oversight comes from Medical Director Dr. Benjamin Medrano, MD, and Clinical Director Amy Della Rocca, MSN, MPH, PMHNP-BC, both nationally recognized specialists in Spravato® and ketamine therapy.

-And spravato has defenitely been a huge boost for me mentally. I Still have some work to do in my life to get to where i ultimately want to be but I'm functional and able to talk to people, going to the gym and synagouge every day, looking for work and starting to think it's possible to one day date and have a family, all things that I had given up on.

I have been visiting this location for a couple months and not even once I had experience that wasn’t pleasant. Every single time everyone very friendly and professional I wish all the doctors office could be the same but I think may be asking too much as Maria minds employed wouldn’t be there to satisfy the need.

I want to thank the whole team and staff for a seamless onboarding experience. I have been attending treatments for a few weeks now. This place is a special gem in the heart of white plains. I have struggled with resistant depression for more than three decades. I must say that I am feeling so much better and been able to feel love for myself again and be proactive with my family, most importantly live in my world that I give myself permission to live in authenticity. Fantastic experience every single time. Amy is so amazing and makes the experience that much better. The entire staff is professional, friendly and extremely helpful.
