Medical Director
Dr. Ben Medrano, MD, serves as the Medical Director at Marpa Minds and is one of the foremost experts in ketamine-assisted therapy and integrative psychiatry in the United States. A board-certified psychiatrist, Dr. Medrano earned his medical degree from the University of Colorado School of Medicine, completing additional training on the Urban Underserved Track and receiving multiple academic honors. He completed his psychiatric residency at the Mount Sinai Hospital system in New York City, where he gained invaluable experience working with high-needs populations and later transitioned to focus on the therapeutic potential of psychedelics in mental health. Dr. Medrano is a graduated fellow of the Integrative Psychiatry Institute, where he received advanced certification in Ketamine for Medical Providers, sponsored by the American Society of Ketamine Physicians. He has trained directly with leading visionaries in the field, including Dr. Phil Wolfson, and plays a national role in clinician education at The Ketamine Training Center. Before joining Marpa Minds, Dr. Medrano was Chief Medical Officer at Field Trip Health, where he oversaw one of the country’s largest in-office ketamine therapy programs, and later held executive medical leadership roles at Nue Life Health and Innerwell, expanding access to psychedelic treatments via innovative telehealth platforms. His commitment to clinical excellence is complemented by faculty positions, conference presentations, and advisory roles in psychedelic medicine, including lectures at Naropa University and membership on the HealingMaps Medical Advisory Board. Amy Della Rocca, MSN, MPH, PMHNP-BC, serves as the Clinical Director at Marpa Minds, bringing a wealth of expertise and leadership across psychiatric, medical, and public health domains. She holds a Master of Science in Nursing from Columbia University, a Master of Public Health, and is board certified as a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner. With over 25 years of experience in mental health care, Amy has distinguished herself as a national leader in ketamine and Spravato® therapy, having skillfully overseen and delivered more than 5,000 sessions—making her one of the most accomplished clinicians in the field. Her extensive training encompasses advanced psychopharmacology, mood disorders, and integrative psychiatry, and she is recognized for her ability to seamlessly unite evidence-based medicine with a whole-person approach to healing. Nathan Levitt, MSN, FNP-BC, brings profound clinical expertise, compassion, and visionary leadership to Marpa Minds, where he integrates his extensive background in integrative mental health, trauma-informed care, and health equity into the clinic’s pioneering work in ketamine-assisted and psychedelic therapy. A nationally recognized nurse practitioner and educator, Nathan is renowned for advancing evidence-based approaches that merge neuroscience, compassion-centered practice, and inclusivity. At Marpa Minds, his deep understanding of psychopharmacology, mood disorders, and holistic mental health allows him to design and deliver transformative, person-centered care for individuals navigating depression, anxiety, and trauma. Rivka Breuer is the Co-Founder and Director of Operations at Marpa Minds, a mental health treatment center specializing in Spravato and ketamine therapies for depression. Her leadership at Marpa Minds is characterized by her commitment to combining clinical excellence, compassionate care, and efficient business operations. Rivka's experience centers around innovating within the mental health field, partnering closely with clinical experts to provide premium patient care and seamless coordination for both patients and providers. Her background includes behavioral health coding certification and expertise in mental health operations, reflecting her dedication to bridging high-quality clinical services with a supportive, patient-centered environment. Under her direction, Marpa Minds stands out as a leader in safe, accessible, and effective psychedelic therapy, with Rivka playing a key role in ensuring every patient's healing journey is welcoming, organized, and optimized for real and lasting change.
Session Integration Specialist
Samantha works at Marpa Minds as an integrative guide, supporting clients throughout their Spravato treatment journeys. She also conducts group sessions at our center, assisting clients in healing and integrating their experiences in a holistic and supportive setting. Samantha is honored to collaborate with the Marpa Minds team to combine traditional healing modalities with Spravato treatment. She has trained in lineage to assist others in their spiritual development and inner healing process. In sessions she blends meditation, spiritual healing, ancestral trauma healing, and dream work to assist patients in stabilizing the openings in awareness that tend to occur in psychedelic medicine work. She maintains a personal meditation and spiritual development process rooted in Yoga and Vedanta, and works with equal embrace to all spiritual traditions of the world. At Marpa Minds, Samantha’s leadership ensures that each individual receives expertly guided, compassionate support as they navigate and integrate their ketamine treatment, fostering both immediate breakthroughs and enduring emotional healing.
Session Integration Specialist
Christy Walshe is a Psychedelic Integration Specialist and Health Coach at Marpa Minds, where she guides clients through the transformational process of ketamine and psychedelic-assisted therapy. Her background combines holistic health and mental wellness expertise with advanced training in psychedelic integration, drawing on her education from the Institute for Integrative Nutrition as well as extensive practice in guiding individuals in both one-on-one and group settings. Christy holds a B.S. in Advertising, Marketing, and Communication Planning from Syracuse University and is certified as a Holistic Health Coach and a RYT 200hr yoga teacher. She also holds certification in Mental Health First Aid and has served as an integration guide and manager with leading organizations, including Nue Life Health and Field Trip Health, in addition to her work at Marpa Minds. Through her diverse experience spanning health coaching, clinical social work, and psychedelic wellness, Christy brings warmth, creativity, and deep knowledge to every patient’s healing journey—making her an integral part of Marpa Minds’ commitment to truly holistic care.

Jeanie Lee stands out as a uniquely skilled Psychedelic Integration Specialist at Marpa Minds, where she guides patients through transformative ketamine experiences with expertise that draws from deep clinical practice, advanced training, and passionate community leadership. Jeanie holds formal education in Transpersonal Counseling Psychology from Sofia University, specializing in the psychology of altered states, and has completed rigorous training in Ketamine-Assisted Therapy and Psychedelic Integration with Fluence, as well as certification in Internal Family Systems therapy. Her professional journey spans thousands of hours spent supporting individuals and groups through psychedelic healing, employing modalities such as psychodynamic, cognitive behavioral, narrative, creative, and Internal Family Systems (IFS) therapies to personalize every healing journey. Jeanie is also the founder of the Psychedelic Access Fund, a nonprofit devoted to expanding access to psychedelic healing, and has led the Lehigh Valley Psychedelic Society, demonstrating leadership within the wider integration ecosystem. David Drapkin, LCSW, brings an extraordinary level of clinical leadership, innovation, and passion to Marpa Minds as Head of Media & Partnerships, cementing the clinic’s reputation as a national pioneer in ketamine therapy and advanced mental health care. With over 15 years of hands-on experience as a psychotherapist, clinical supervisor, and director working across the United States, Israel, the U.K., and Australia, David is renowned for guiding individuals through transformational psychedelic and ketamine-assisted therapies. He holds formal credentials as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, advanced training in psychoanalysis, cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), motivational interviewing, harm reduction, somatic mindfulness approaches, and psychedelic integration. With a background in Neurobiology from SUNY Binghamton and prior experience working with ketamine, Moin’s curiosity about the therapeutic potential of psychedelics has evolved into a genuine dedication to supporting others in their healing process. Drawing from his scientific training and hands-on experience, he bridges the space between clinical care and human connection—approaching each patient interaction with attentiveness, understanding, and respect. Shoval Maidenberg serves as Patient Liaison Specialist at Marpa Minds, bringing extensive expertise in psychedelic integration and mental health coaching to support every individual’s healing journey. Holding a B.A. in Psychology from City University of New York and having trained as an integration specialist, Shoval is dedicated to guiding patients through the nuanced process of integrating Spravato® and ketamine-assisted experiences. Her approach draws on years of experience supporting trauma survivors and individuals navigating non-ordinary states of consciousness—using a combination of evidence-based, harm-reduction, and somatic mindfulness methods. Amy Savitsky is a compassionate, client-centered professional with deep experience supporting individuals through healing, transformation, and non-ordinary states of consciousness. Currently a Psychoanalyst-in-Training at the C.G. Jung Institute of New York, she blends rigorous clinical training with a long-standing commitment to mental health awareness, integrative care, and trauma-informed support. Amy's background includes advanced training in psychedelic-assisted psychotherapy, transformational coaching, and embodied dreamwork, allowing her to bring a grounded, empathic, and holistic presence to her work with clients. Before transitioning into the mental health field, Amy spent two decades as a senior creative executive—most recently as SVP of Production and Development at A+E Networks—where she led award-winning, socially resonant storytelling and mentored high-performing teams. She now brings the same professional integrity, collaboration, and attunement to her clinical path. Amy also volunteers with Hospice of Westchester, offering emotional support and meaningful companionship to patients and families during end-of-life care. Psychiatric-Mental Health Nurse Practitioner
Courtney S. Lester, MS, PMHNP-BC is a board-certified Psychiatric-Mental Health Nurse Practitioner with over eight years of experience in providing compassionate, evidence-based psychiatric care. She has cared for individuals and their loved ones with needs across the mental health spectrum including addiction recovery at NewYork-Presbyterian/Westchester Behavioral Health Center. Trained at Stony Brook University, Courtney is committed to holistic, trauma-informed, patient-centered care to help individuals reach their goals and achieve their highest level of functioning. Her clinical approach emphasizes respectful, collaborative, identity affirming and culturally responsive care that prioritizes dignity, autonomy, and independence within the community. She is deeply passionate about serving diverse and underserved populations and is dedicated to promoting mental health wellness that brings meaningful and positive lasting outcomes. Her clinical interests include thoughtful psychopharmacologic management, risk assessment, therapeutic crisis intervention, and harm reduction.
